Colourful Russian Alphabet: The Winners

When I started the Colourful Alphabet series last year I was curious what colours would be the most popular. Here are the winners (sales and favs combined), the three most popular Alphabet T-shirts:

Third place: Neon Green On Berry

Second place: White On Black

And The Winner Is: Silver On Maroon

Silver on Maroon is my personal favourite too.

What’s your favourite? What combination of colours would you suggest?

Sputnik-1

Sputnik-1, the first artificial Earth satellite. It was launched on October 4th, 1957 by Soviets. Science and technologies were very important for the Soviet Union back then.

'Sputnik' is one of a few words Russian languages coined into the global vocabulary. Did you know that it should be pronounced as spoot-nik, like 'put'? There is a little hint - an IPA pronunciation of 'sputnik' (take a look at the number 1 in Sputnik-1 sign), so you won't forget it and can teach others!

We offer free shipping worldwide, because we think it is fair.

Georgian Alphabet T-shirt

A bit simpler design of the Georgian Alphabet T-shirt:

The color of this T-shirt resembles the world-famous Georgian wines. And grey, the color of the alphabet, pairs with it perfectly.

You don't have to be a mathematician to know about the number ‪#‎Pi‬, but if you are a mathematician, you certainly appreciate its beauty. Do you want to share your passion with others? Do it with a style and fashion!

Here is something for you in our store:
By the way, you can use the decal and the tshirt as mnemonic devices: they'll help you to memorize the numbers after the dot to impress your friends!

Manta Ray T-shirt

Mother Nature is a crazy designer. Look at this creature, for example. Manta rays, those elegant sea giants, are awesome. Only a few aquariums worldwide are large enough to house them. In general, these large fish are seldom seen and difficult to study.

The manta on this T-shirt is made of the navy blue foil and pearl vinyl film. The photo doesn't do justice - navy blue foil actually looks better.

Colorful Russian Alphabet T-Shirts

Bright and unique t-shirts with the Russian alphabet:

Ни пуха, ни пера! Russian Lucky T-shirt

For all of you who is doing finals: Lucky T-shirt. The Russian phrases on this T-shirt is a traditional wish to a student going for an exam:

Ни пуха, ни пера! (lit. (wish you) neither fur, nor feather!) Similar to ‘break a leg’.

Traditional response:

К чёрту! (lit. go to hell!)

The phrase was used as an indirect (negative) farewell “spell” said to hunters leaving for a hunt and aiming to spoof and scare devilry. It was believed that direct good luck wishing could put the evil eye on the hunters and overlook the luck.

Ukrainian Alphabet On a T-shirt

New addition to our Alphabet series: Ukrainian alphabet. The shirt repeats the colors of the Ukrainian flag. Did you know that Ukraine and Bosnia are the only two countries that have no red on their flags?

One For All, And All For One!

Three Musketeers was my favorite book. To celebrate probably the greatest story of friendship and love, I designed this t-shirt, which really looks like a costume.
